JOB SUMMARY:
To coordinate and supervise the activities of the Patient Services
Representatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Supports and assists with the
development and actualization of the department’s goals

Completes all task requirements of the
Patient Representative role.

Supervises Patient Representatives and
support staff as follows:
-
Manages disciplinary actions
-
Manages day to day workflow
activities
-
Performs all aspects of the PMP
process and coaching required
-
Coordinates all work schedule
activity
-
Functions as the liaison between upper
management and staff.
-
Participates in establishing
departmental policy.
-
Ensures Standard Operating Procedures
for work group are maintained.
-
Actively participates in process
improvement projects.
-
Monitors work outcomes and provide
metric data for upper management.
-
Assists, guides, and instructs support
staff with non-routine policy interpretations or transaction problems
which require resolution.
-
Actively participates in and promotes
the development of self and others.
-
Adheres to internal controls established
for department.
-
Performs related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and four years related
experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:
Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory
and/or office environments.
