JOB SUMMARY:

To coordinate and supervise the activities of the Patient Services Representatives.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports and assists with the development and actualization of the department’s goals

  • Completes all task requirements of the Patient Representative role.

  • Supervises Patient Representatives and support staff as follows:

    • Manages disciplinary actions

    • Manages day to day workflow activities

    • Performs all aspects of the PMP process and coaching required

    • Coordinates all work schedule activity

  • Functions as the liaison between upper management and staff.

  • Participates in establishing departmental policy.

  • Ensures Standard Operating Procedures for work group are maintained.

  • Actively participates in process improvement projects.

  • Monitors work outcomes and provide metric data for upper management.

  • Assists, guides, and instructs support staff with non-routine policy interpretations or transaction problems which require resolution.

  • Actively participates in and promotes the development of self and others.

  • Adheres to internal controls established for department.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and four years related experience.

 

EQUIPMENT:

Standard office equipment.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:

Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory and/or office environments.
