Job Summary:To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of the angiography suite in Special Procedures under the direction of a physician. This includes assistance with invasive neuro, vascular, and interventional procedures. Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
Required Education / Experience:Associates degree or radiologic graduate of an accredited radiography program and ARRT registered. Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Department of Health. Two years experience as a radiologic technologist required. ARRT registered. BCLS/CPR certified. Equipment:Standard radiographic and imaging equipment associated with special procedures. Standard office equipment. Working Environment:Standard hospital environment. Some lifting, moving, and positioning of patients and equipment may be required.Other:Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.

qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums
require the prior approval of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
