• Coordinates delivery of recreational therapy services.
• Provides direction and instruction to recreational therapists and therapy interns.
• Implements and interprets established philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards of practice. 
• Provides orientation and in-service activities for staff and interns.
• Directs departmental conferences to review therapeutic activities and recommendations for actions.
• Evaluates performance of personnel.
• Instructs and demonstrates various recreational therapy and dance movement therapy techniques.
• Participates in treatment conferences.
• Plans, participates, and cooperates in clinical research endeavors.
• Maintains accurate patient and personnel records.
• Adheres to internal controls established for department.
• Performs related duties as required.
