Job Summary:
To provide management direction and coordination for the Cleft Palate Program through collaborative teamwork.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Coordinates with the Medical Director planning for the delivery of services and compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies for patient care and operations management.

Recommends, develops, and implements procedures, protocols, standards, and policies for patient care, service delivery, and support operations.

Monitors patient volume activity, quality of service, and operations.
-
Delegates program objectives and responsibilities and assigns resources.
-
Serves as liaison with other departments, physicians, other specialists, and outside agencies.

Represents the program to community agencies and programs.

Develops and recommends annual program budget in collaboration with the Associate Administrator and the Medical Director.

Monitors monthly expenditure reports to assess budget status.

Provides for data collection and transmittal of patient demographic, financial, diagnostic, and service/procedure delivery to support medical record and billing functions.

Monitors and evaluates charges or fee structure; proposes rate changes.

Monitors clinic revenue and expense data, generating periodic reports.

Coordinates the recruitment, evaluation, and professional development of subordinates.

Plans and directs marketing and promotional activities.

Participates in quality assurance activities.

Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Master's degree in related field and four years related experience. Certified by the
ASHA. Licensure from the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and
Audiology.
