Job Summary:
To facilitate a healthier and more productive workforce by offering fitness and health related programs for employees.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Provides fitness evaluations and exercise prescriptions to employees and monitors the progress of the individual over a period of time

Coordinate the Health Risk Appraisal program, providing testing, information, and guidance to employees regarding their risk factors.

Oversees the Smoking Cessation Program, providing guidance and leadership to the coordinating staff.

Organizes and implements other programs that offer educational and practical information on nutrition and exercise.

Organizes the Student Enrichment Program.

Provides fitness and health related seminars and presentations.

Quantifies benefits of programs for employees and students on the hospital's bottom-line and presents these findings to professional journals and interested groups.

Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Master's degree in a health-related field. One year of experience in fitness evaluation. CPR certification. American College of Sports Medicine certification.
Equipment:
Standard exercise equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard fitness center environment.
Other:
