JOB SUMMARY: To provide assistance in the direction of information and clinical services for the Texas Poison Center. MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or advanced degree in pharmacology / toxicology or Registered Nurse in Texas with bachelor's degree in nursing and 2 years of poison control experience. Registration by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. EQUIPMENT: Standard office equipment. WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard office environment. Required to work rotating shifts including
weekends. OTHER: Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.
