Job Summary:
To provide assistance in all phases and activities associated with the patient relations programs.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Interviews patients who need service and provides information about patient services.

Interprets the institution's policies and procedures.

Documents and reports results of patient interviews.

Consults with patients or patients' families to identify any sources of difficulty in obtaining services.

Communicates any problems to all departments involved and follows through until satisfactory solutions are found.

Relays information concerning problems to patients and staff members.
-
Makes referrals to appropriate departments and services within the hospital.

Analyzes and evaluates services rendered to improve the quality of patient care.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Associate's degree or
equivalent in related field and no experience required.
Equipment:
Standard office and audiovisual equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard office environment.
Other:
