JOB SUMMARY: The International Analyst II will be responsible for coordinating all phases of program activities for international staff. MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: · Orient and advise international research, faculty, and student employees, and their administrative department contacts, regarding regulatory issues, U.S culture, and UTMB procedures · Serve as liaison with government entities · Prepare nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions for submission to INS · Build and maintain knowledge of regulatory issues affecting international staff and students · Develop outreach programs and train department contacts as well as international students and staff regarding regulatory issues and Office of International Affairs procedures · Coordinate communication efforts including preparation of newsletters, flyers, announcements, etc.· Coordinate quarterly meetings with campus administrative contacts and other group presentations · Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure · Performs related duties as required REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: · Bachelors degree or equivalent in related field · Two years of experience in nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing EQUIPMENT: Standard office equipment. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Standard office environment.
