Job Summary:
To provide responsible supervisory and advanced professional skills in design, construction, operation, maintenance and repair of scientific, computer, or mechanical equipment.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Coordinates various developmental projects, applies mechanical, scientific, or computer engineering techniques.

Operates machine tools, and electronic and scientific instruments.

Performs highly responsible skills on layout and assembly of component mechanical and scientific apparatus and on equipment involving electricity, computers, sheet metal work, soldering, and machining.

Repairs equipment and utilizes machinery or electronic computer instrumentation.

Prepares and presents bids for new jobs.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and
three years of experience.
Equipment:
Standard electrical, mechanical research, and/or machine-shop equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard electrical, mechanical research, machine-shop and/or office
environment.
