Job Summary:
To provide skilled assistance with the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of scientific, electronic, computer, or mechanical patient monitoring equipment.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Repairs and maintains machinery, and electronic, computer or mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.

Dismantles equipment to gain access to and removes defective parts.

Performs skilled work on layout and assembly of mechanical component and electronic apparatus.

Lubricates and cleans parts.

Operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metal-working tools.

Repairs equipment and utilizes machinery, and electronic or computer instrumentation.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent. No experience required.
Equipment:
Standard electrical, mechanical research, and/or machine-shop equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard electrical, mechanical research, machine-shop and/or office
environment.
