Job Summary:
To provide supervisory and technical skills involving the storekeeping and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Supervises in the care of laboratory animals and in the setting up of experiments.

Instructs students and laboratory personnel in the proper use and care of equipment and supplies.

Prepares, cleans, operates and does basic repair of laboratory equipment.

Keeps inventory, orders and distributes equipment and supplies for laboratory use.

Contacts manufacturers for equipment repair, instruction for repairs and maintenance of a complex nature.

Performs specialized technical procedures and certain animal experimentation.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent and three years related experience.
Equipment:
Standard laboratory equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard laboratory environment.
Other:
Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to

Any
qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums
