JOB SUMMARY: Applies advanced and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in the planning, organizing, executing and coordinating of institutional remodeling, renovation, new construction and equipment replacement projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in an Engineering field. Six years of engineering design experience, to include two years of healthcare or research design experience and emphasis on the design of facility systems. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), State of Texas required.
EQUIPMENT: Standard office equipment. Autocad stations and standard engineering assessment tools.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION: Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory, light industrial and/or office environments. May be exposed to such occupational hazards such as communicable diseases, harmful chemicals, and/or disoriented or combative patients. Describe travel requirements and other physical demands of job.
