JOB SUMMARY:

Works with Construction Operations Manager and other project teams to assist in construction inspections to assure compliance with prepared drawings and current codes.  Serve as primary resource to teams for construction inspection activities.

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

• Reviews drawings, specifications and addendums for code compliance

• Oversees contractors in the field to assure compliance with contract documents

• Evaluates general contractors for input to Construction Managers

• Alerts Construction Manager to any and all deviations from the contract documents

• Conducts inspection of construction projects.

• Assists with estimates for small work orders as required

• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

• Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and one year of construction-related experience.

EQUIPMENT:

Standard office equipment; all tools of the construction trade.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Standard office, shop and construction site environments.
