JOB SUMMARY:
Provides skilled technical work
involving electronic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic control of typical
state-of-the-art hospital facilities systems and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
-
Installs, troubleshoots and
repairs 120, 208, 240, and 480 volt controls and equipment.
Works on HVAC problems in Patients rooms research
facilities and animal rooms.

Read, draw, and interpret
electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and HVAC schematics, one line diagrams
and control sequence of operations.

Programs microprocessors
for initial commissioning, tune up control loops and calibration of analog
inputs.
-
Must perform functions on
live circuits and in operating controls enclosures.

Provide assistance to
Facilities Operations Technicians with knowledge of Siemens, Johnson, and
TAC Control Systems to perform problem solving and customer service tasks to
resolve comfort and operational room issues.

Perform calibration,
maintenance and repair of electric, electronic, and pneumatic controls using
proprietary software to ensure required temperature and humidity to all
campus buildings.

Maintain and repair
Continuous Monitoring Equipment (CEM) for stack emissions testing.

Adheres to internal
controls and reporting structure.

Performs related duties as
required.
MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or
equivalent and four years related experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard office environment,
support of 24 hour operations.
