JOB SUMMARY:
Provides skilled technical
work involving electronic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic control of
typical state-of-the-art hospital facilities systems and equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:
- Installs, troubleshoots
and repairs 120, 208, 240, and 480 volt controls and equipment. Read, draw,
and interpret electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and HVAC schematics, one line
diagrams and control sequence of operations.
- Programs microprocessors
for initial commissioning, tune up control loops and calibration of analog
inputs.
- Must perform functions
on live circuits and in operating controls enclosures.
- Provide assistance to
Facilities Operations Technicians with knowledge of Siemens, Johnson, and CSI
Control Systems to perform problem solving and customer service tasks to
resolve comfort and operational room issues.
- Perform calibration,
maintenance and repair of electric, electronic, and pneumatic controls using
proprietary software to ensure required temperature and humidity to all campus
buildings.
- Maintain and repair
Continuous Monitoring Equipment (CME) for stack emissions testing.
- Also perform the duties
of the Utilities Operations Technician (Operator) in emergency or as needed.

Adheres to internal controls and reporting
structure.

Performs related duties as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or
equivalent and four years related experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard office
environment, support of 24 hour operations.
