Job Summary:
To provide skilled work in the performance of maintenance and repair tasks in various craft areas.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Does rough painting, paint mixing and color matching.

Assists carpenter in such tasks as construction, repair and maintenance of wood structures.

Performs less skilled electrical work such as repair and adjustment of electrical equipment and appliances.

Repairs lines, faucets and pipe fittings.

Fabricates and welds as required.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent and one year experience in related field.
Equipment:
Standard equipment used in allied trades.
Working Environment:
Some exposure to weather and physical hazards.
Other:
Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to
this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby
subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.
