Job Summary:
To provide supervision and direction to catering attendants in the preparation, set-up, and clean-up of catered events.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Assists catering management team with scheduling and directing catering attendants in accordance with business needs.

Identifies staffing needs and assists management in determining qualified candidates for open positions.

Ensures attractive garnishing and food display in accordance with department standards.

Monitors portion control by observing the use of correct serving utensils and portion servings by catering attendants.

Ensures merchandising and garnishing of serving lines are in accordance with department standards.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent. Two years experience required.
Equipment:
Standard food preparation equipment and materials.
Working Environment:
Standard food preparation for hospital or clinical environment.
Other:
Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to
this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby
subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.
Any
qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums
