Job Summary:
To provide assistance in guiding vehicular traffic and enforcing parking and driving regulations.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Patrols parking lots for unauthorized vehicles.
- Observes traffic and parking violations and issues campus citations for infractions.
- Assists staff, employees, and visitors by giving directions and parking information.
- Controls the entrances and exits of vehicles at guard gatehouse.
- Submits daily activity reports.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent. No experience necessary. Must possess a Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and complete a defensive driving course in the first six months of work.
Equipment:
Standard law enforcement equipment and vehicles.
Working Environment:
May be exposed to adverse weather conditions.
