Job Summary:

Oversee management of the Parking Office operation exercising initiative and independent judgment. Provide advanced skills and supervision in enforcing parking and traffic regulations, and to provide service, information, and aid to all citizens as circumstances require.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Determines specific work methods to be utilized
  • Assigns tasks, trains employees, reviews completed work
  • Maintains positive public relations of department and acts as liaison for department 
  • Patrols parking areas to control the use by unauthorized vehicles
  • Observes parking violations and issues Municipal Court citations for violation
  • Schedules and coordinates special event parking for campus
  • Submits daily activity report and other reports as required
  • Supervises, schedules, and trains parking controllers/garage custodians and garage cashiers
  • Oversees daily operations of public and contract parking areas
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department
  • Performs related duties as required

Required Education / Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent and five years of related experience. Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License

Equipment: 

Standard radio / cell phone equipment and vehicles.

Working Environment:

May be exposed to adverse weather conditions.
