Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to audit systems, operations or processes in
order to evaluate and report on the adequacy, effectiveness, and
comprehensiveness of compliance, or controls in these operations.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Works with Senior Compliance Auditor and Systems Analysts to conduct audits of
compliance activities of all UTMB

Develops audit programs, and audit workpapers to perform compliance, internal
control, self-monitoring activities, internal education activities, and
investigational reviews with direct supervision by the Senior

Compliance Auditor, Systems Analyst, and Executive Directors of Institutional
Compliance
Interacts with business administration department heads on a routine basis and
establishes good work relations.

Provides information or advice to supervisors; formulates alternative solutions
to problems

Adheres to internal controls established for the department.

Completes other job-related functions and special projects as assigned by the
Executive Directors for Compliance
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
discipline and two years of experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Normal office and/or patient care environment
