Job Summary:

To manage the Preventive Medicine Aerospace, General Preventive Medicine and Occupational Medicine Residency Training Programs.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Develops and manages resident schedules and teaching activities such as grand rounds, case conferences and journal clubs. 
  • Coordinates program agreements and training site contacts and evaluations.
  • Manages the resident selection process to include the development of promotional and recruiting materials. 
  • Coordinates new and recurrent Residency Review Committee (RRC) site reviews and correspondence. 
  • Provides administrative support for resident, faculty and staff travel. 
  • Works in collaboration with the administrator of PMCH for all PMCH funded personnel, administrative, space and other support needs for the office.
  • Works in collaboration with the administrator of POEM for all POEM funded personnel, administrative, space and other support needs for the office.
  • Represents the office to appropriate university and RRC committees as required.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years experience.

Equipment: 

Standard office equipment.

Working Environment:

Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment.
