Job Summary:
To provide professional skills in the development, coordination, administration, and marketing efforts of faculty continuing education programs.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Researches, develops, and coordinates the implementation of new continuing education courses for faculty.

Attends initial planning meetings with UTMB faculty.

Prepares budgets for proposed continuing education courses and designs and implements marketing plans and materials.

Schedules conference facilities and coordinates room and audio/visual accommodations for lecturers.

Plans menus, social events, and entertainment for conferences.
-
Prepares course syllabus and monitors registration.
-
Reviews course evaluations and recommends changes to course chairman.

Prepares the final course budget and reconciles the course account.
-
Attends post-course meeting for course review.

Conduct needs analysis to enhance courses offered.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent in related field and three years experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment.
Other:
