Job Summary:
To educate the community on the various programs and services offered by unique UTMB departments.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Creates, implements, and measures community-wide marketing campaigns.

Establishes contacts and maintains close relationships with contacts in all facets of media.

Creates promotional booklets and pamphlets; writes and edits scripts for television and radio public service announcements.

Recruits well-known leaders to be spokespersons for programs and presentations.

Organizes and coordinates various ceremonies and banquets.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years of related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment. Occasional trips to outside locations.
