JOB SUMMARY:
To lead the design and production of high quality, creative art work for
printing and presentations using computer graphics hardware and software.
MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

Provides direction and training to Graphic
Designer I and II's.

Evaluates hardware and software products and
makes recommendations for purchase / utilization.

Designs and produces complex electronic files
for presentations (i.e. business cards, letterheads, brochures, booklets,
newsletters, journals, manuals, directories, and posters).

Designs and produces complex electronic files
for presentations (i.e. slide shows, and multi-media presentations).
-
Produces complex electronics illustrations,
layouts and digital images for incorporation into publications, displays, and
presentations.

Produces color and black and white
compositions using laser printers.
-
Produces high resolutions, camera / plate -
ready paper mechanicals or negatives, including color separation to an image
setter.

Produces high resolution slides to a film
recorder.

Adheres to internal controls established for
department.

Performs related duties as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree or equivalent in related field and three years related
experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard graphics equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard office environment.
