Job Summary:
To provide
advanced professional secretarial and administrative support to executive level
management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serves
as a liaison between other departments and entities across campus, and
potentially between external vendors.
- Uses
discretion and judgment in answering inquiries from administrative,
professional, faculty, and classified employees regarding confidential
information.

Interprets policies and procedures pertaining to department and/or
functional area.
- Gathers
and compiles information for supervisor's reports and presentations.

Maintains confidential files, fiscal records and ledger sheets for the
department.

Composes, transcribes, and types confidential correspondence.

Responsible for records retention and inventory management for the
department.

Maintains supervisor's appointment calendar, arranging appointments,
meetings, and travel.

Responsible for travel reconciliation quarterly.

Responsible for budget reconciliation for various accounts.
- Assists
in the training and evaluation of the clerical staff.
- Screens
and refers phone calls.
- Greets
and directs visitors.
- Adheres
to internal controls and reporting structure.
MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB
FUNCTIONS:

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school
diploma or equivalent and seven years related experience. Must pass typing test
at a net rate of 40 wpm and pass spelling test with 85% accuracy.
