JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the acceptance, management, reporting and
compliance of UTMB endowment contributions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists the Endowment Compliance Officer in
the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the endowment
compliance program at UTMB.

Manages and implements processes and
procedures for the creation and monitoring of endowments and accumulation
gift accounts.

Prepares, submits and tracks paperwork (i.e., gift agreement,
account load form) required to establish endowments.

Coordinates the establishment of an account and the fund transfer
with Financial Management, processes the on-line request to UT Systems for
Board of Regents approval, notifies endowment holders and/or account
signatories about the establishment of new endowments and informs all
involved with the expenditure of endowment funds about compliance rules,
regulations and reporting.

Serves as the OUA contact on all endowment related information.
Investigates and coordinates or responds to calls from endowment holders,
account owners, contributors or development officers.

Generates endowment compliance reports for the Endowment Compliance
Committee and to meet external reporting requirements. Produces ad hoc
endowment reports as needed for the Endowment Compliance Committee and the
campus community.

Develops and implements an endowment compliance training program.
Monitors adherence to training requirements for endowment holders and
account signatories. Updates training program as necessary.

Responsible for the timely and
accurate recording of endowment information in Raiser’s Edge software.
Maintains hard copy department files
for all information received and generated in the process of receiving,
recording and acknowledging endowments. Provides assistance as requested in
filing and retrieving hard copy documentation.

Performs fiscal reconciliations of UT Systems gift data with data
managed and generated by other University departments and entities
including, but not limited to, Fiscal Services, UTMB Schools and Research
Administrative Services.

Provides backup to development specialists in gift processing and
biographical updating as necessary.

Responsible for special projects as assigned.

Performs related duties as required.
MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or equivalent and two years related
experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:
Standard office environment.
