Job Summary:
To provide organizational and supervisory skills necessary in the effective management of academic records.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Coordinates and directs all functions of record management system, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Performs systematic record analysis of organizational records, reports, forms, and filing systems.
- Oversees and coordinates disposition of obsolete records; arranging for destruction and witness certification.
- Directs maintenance and storage of records.
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates support personnel in record maintenance of
computer reports.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of computer reports.
- Evaluates record management system, assessing areas of need or improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent and two years related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment and micro photographic equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard office environment.
