Job Summary:

To provide organizational and supervisory skills necessary in the effective management of academic records. 

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Coordinates and directs all functions of record management system, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Performs systematic record analysis of organizational records, reports, forms, and filing systems. 
  • Oversees and coordinates disposition of obsolete records; arranging for destruction and witness certification. 
  • Directs maintenance and storage of records. 
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates support personnel in record maintenance of computer reports. 
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of computer reports. 
  • Evaluates record management system, assessing areas of need or improvement and implementing necessary changes. 
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department. 
  • Performs related duties as required. 

Required Education / Experience:

Associate's degree or equivalent and two years related experience.

Equipment: 

Standard office equipment and micro photographic equipment.

Working Environment:

Standard office environment.

Confidential information is handled on a regular basis, requiring signature of a Confidentiality Agreement as a condition of employment.
