Job Summary:
To provide the supervisory direction of the clerical activities of an assigned area and to provide direct clerical and administrative support to department management.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Determines work procedures and expedites work flow.
- Prepares summary reports on work volume, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Determines or adjusts work procedures to meet objectives.
- Coordinates departmental correspondence and routine personnel functions.
- Supervises clerical support staff, monitoring outcomes and timelines.
- Trains clerical staff and assists in planning appropriate skill development.
- Analyzes, resolves, or assists personnel in handling work problems.
- Recommends or initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, charges, and performance management.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and five years related experience.
