JOB SUMMARY:

Assists information services leadership team in managing major functions within the project, customer support, or operations group of information services. 

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: 

  • Plans, organizes, schedules and assigns activities/tasks to Finance systems and support.
  • Meets with customers to define scope of projects and user needs
  • Establishes standards for service delivery and evaluates the quality of services provided
  • Prepares and manages area budget
  • Participates in decisions concerning personal staffing, training, promotion, evaluation, and supervision
  • Develops long range goals and objectives
  • Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance
  • Develops and maintains information access standards for Finance
  • Liaison with Information Services on behalf of Finance
  • Ensure appropriate desktop support is provided for Finance
  • Obtains or prepares activity and progress reports reflecting performance and usage of Finance
  • Performs related duties as required

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

Bachelors degree or equivalent and six years related experience.
