Job Summary:

To serve as a liaison with corporation, foundation, and individuals in order to solicit contributions for the Institution.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Develops and administers an annual campaign to encourage donations to the University of $1000 or above, with the benefit of membership in the President's Cabinet.
  • Conducts other major gift campaigns that are approved by the University.
  • Assists in identifying and educating potential donors locally, statewide, and nationally who might be interested in supporting the University.
  • Assists in organizing and supervising a volunteer network who will help with solicitations, event planning and selection of the President's Award for Excellence recipient.
  • Assists in developing a recognition plan for donors of the President's Cabinet and other special major gift campaigns.
  • Encourages renewal of membership on an annual and ongoing basis.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and two years related experience.
