Job Summary:

To perform complex financial analysis and to provide supervisory skills in a major fiscal division of the Medical Branch.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Analyzes workload, determines work priority, assigns duties, oversees work progress, and participates in professional financial duties in a major fiscal division.
Provides financial information which enables senior management to make informed long-term and short term decisions.
Develops computer programs to determine/assist with various cost projects and performs statistical analysis based on this data.
Adheres to internal controls established for departments.
Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field. Five years related experience in an accounting or financial area.

Equipment:

Standard office equipment.

Working Environment:

Standard office environment.
