Job Summary:
To provide advanced and/or supervisory skills in the non-routine receipt, disbursement, and recording of funds.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees receiving and dispensing money.
- Keeps records of money, negotiable instruments, and other financial transactions.
- Orders supply of cash to meet daily needs.
- Oversees patient deposit and payment activity.
- Allocates operating funds to cashiering stations.
- Searches records to assist subordinates in locating and reconciling posting errors.
- Supervises the posting of financial transactions and the balancing of receipts.
- Maintains records on hospital admissions and the balancing of receipts.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. No experience necessary.

Standard office equipment.
