Job Summary:
To provide clerical skills in the receipt, disbursement and recording of funds.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Receives and dispenses money and writes vouchers.
- Keeps records of money, negotiable instruments and other financial transactions.
- Deposits and verifies amount and examines checks for endorsement.
- Orders supply of cash to meet daily needs.
- Counts incoming cash and prepares cash for shipment.
- Posts financial transactions and balances receipts.
- Maintains records on hospital admissions, transfers and discharges.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. No experience necessary.
Equipment:
Standard cashier equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard office environment.
Other:
