Job Summary:
To assist in solving statistical problems through the use of information technology.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Prepares and runs statistical programs by following detailed instructions supplied by the senior biostatistician or biostatistician for compilation, tabulation, and basic analysis of data.

Collects, codes, and prepares data for entry into computer.

Checks and verifies correctness and completeness of data that has been entered.

Prepares summary reports and revises collection and coding procedures under supervision of the senior biostatistician and biostatistician.

Tests and corrects errors caused by incorrect programming.

Prepares documentation of sequence of operations and other information in outlining the programs developed.

Scans data into statistical program package.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent.

Standard office equipment.
