Job Summary:
To implement departmental business plan and operational activities in support of
strategic planning to achieve institutional goals and objectives.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Assists the department leadership in developing, executing and evaluating
strategic and operational plans for the department to support institutional
initiatives.
- Conducts research initiatives as they pertain to institutional research
and strategic planning.
- Identifies potential new areas for gathering and analyzing data on
institutional activities to further the objectives of the department.
- Makes appropriate recommendations regarding the coordination of joint
efforts among UTMB components.
- Consults with academic leadership to ensure that their area
accomplishments and outcomes are captured in a systematic and informative
reporting process.
- Implements outcome measurements to monitor the progress and status of
strategic plans.
- Adheres to internal controls established for the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education / Experience:
Master's degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
