JOB SUMMARY: 

To provide general problem solving assistance relating to computer systems.  

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: 

• Receives and logs telephone inquiries regarding problems.
• Resolves simple problems that can be handled on initial call or researches solutions and follows up with customer.
• Works closely with users in problem resolution and consults users on problem prevention.
• Forwards calls on complex problems to the appropriate area for resolution.
• Adheres to internal controls established for department.
• Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

Associate’s degree or equivalent in related field and no experience required. 

EQUIPMENT: 

Medium to large computer systems.  

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: 

Standard office environment.
