Job Summary:
To operate in a self-managed work team environment providing: management consulting, systems analysis, project management, forecasting, and training to institutional management on specialized approaches designed to improve organizational and operational effectiveness.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Manages the development and coordination of project plans and schedules; oversees the analysis, preparation, and documentation of recommendations for new methods, systems, and/or processes that improve the operational effectiveness of the work area.

Gathers data and coordinates the evaluation of current organizational structure and staffing, providing guidance and direction as to alternatives that may better serve the needs of the department and the institution.

Documents and analyzes current departmental practices and procedures; evaluates their appropriateness and necessity; determines the most efficient and effective method of operation.

Assists management in simplifying work processes and procedures, streamlining operations to provide efficient and effective workflow.

Assists management in defining automation needs and implementing appropriate systems.

Assists management in determining training, development, and enrichment needs of employees.

Works with management to help manage change. Sells new ideas and concepts as solutions to management issues.

Assists in the coordination of high level management issues that require research and insight including, but not limited to, the development of organizational structure, policies, procedures, and operating practices.

Facilitates constant and clear cross-functional communication.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field and five years related experience in a customer service, consulting, or operations role.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard office environment. Travel may be required. Unstructured field work.
Other:
