Job Summary:
To provide technical and systems expertise in support of the planning, implementation and performance of healthcare financial management, and operations analysis and improvement activities at UTMB Hospitals and Clinics.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Actively supports the implementation of campus-wide information systems.

Plans and implements healthcare financial management software package.

Supports enhancements of UTMB's existing monthly reporting and analysis.

Supports the integration of short-term and long-term strategies and financial forecasting into routine activities.

Supports the HCIA and MECON initiatives.
-
Supervises the production of routine financial reporting and analysis activities.
-
Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and four years related experience.
