JOB SUMMARY: To provide technical skills in the preparation and use of programs for the solution of problems by electronic computers. MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: Develops new programs. Verifies solutions. Prepares description of program, flow charts and block diagrams. Prepares program documentation and operating instructions for new programs. Modifies existing programs. Adheres to internal controls established for departments. Performs related duties as required. REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree or equivalent in related field and one year related experience. EQUIPMENT: Standard office equipment. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Standard office environment. OTHER: Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.
