Job Summary:
To monitor and oversee the execution of batch jobs within a large-scale computer system.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Monitors the operation of large scale computer systems.

Executes batch job streams according to daily production schedule.

Monitors and responds to console messages.

Logs and reports all problems.

Assists in training new operators.
-
Assumes responsibility for assigned resources in absence of Shift Supervisor.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent and three years related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard large mainframe environment.
Other:
