Job Summary:
To prepare, monitor, and execute batch jobs within a large-scale computer system.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Monitors the operation of large-scale computer systems.

Manipulates and prepares data files for needed processes and reports.

Executes batch job streams according to established periodic production schedules.

Monitors and responds to console messages.

Logs and reports all problems.

Assists in training new operators.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent and two years related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard large mainframe environment.
Other:
