Job Summary:
To provide administration, coordination and evaluation of automated systems used by hospital departments.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Authorizes security access to system users.

Plans for and coordinates disaster recovery procedures.

Serves as a liaison between hospital management and the central computing facility and/or software vendors.

Resolves daily problems or questions related to the systems.

Ensures changes to the systems occur smoothly.

Monitors costs of the system.
-
Provides for education to hospital personnel on capabilities and use of the systems.
-
Researches methods to improve the functionality of the systems to meet required hospital needs.

Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years related experience.
