Job Summary:
To provide the technical skills required to generate, modify and maintain computer operating system software and application system software within well defined limits.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Assists in the analysis of operating systems problems defined by a software systems specialist of higher grade, and programs and implements approved solutions to problems.

Assists in the design of test jobs and files, and performs programming and testing.

Develops efficient programming techniques in machine language for systems routines.

Performs documentation and maintains system data sets and catalogs.

Performs program design, generation, testing, and maintenance of specific components of the over-all system.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and one year related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard data processing installation environment.
Other:
Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to

Any
