Job Summary:
To provide hardware/software support and entry-level technical skills required to assist in the administering, modifying, and maintaining a network configuration at the department/school level.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks

Provides entry-level assistance in analyzing, designing and administering the performance on an area network configuration at the school/department level.

Manages the performance of one-to-three program packages.

Provides training and support of these packages to staff, faculty, and management.

Assists and/or provides basic programming skills and support.

Assists higher-level network personnel with the development of reports and procedures to optimize the benefits of network capabilities.

Maintains and provides support for various software packages, including spreadsheets, data bases and word processing.

Adheres to internal controls established for department.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent in related field and one year related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard office environment.
