Job Summary:
To provide clerical/administrative support in the delivery of quality human resources programs and services to management and employee customers.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Contribute to the success of UTMB Managed Care Operation.

Assists in the preparation and distribution of communication materials to customers.

Coordinates the collection and processing of employee time records.
-
Assists in the management of personnel records for the human resources field office customers.

Assists in benefits administration including but not limited to communication, enrollment and changes for customers.

Prepares personnel action forms (PAF) and processes necessary paperwork to complete status changes.

Prepares necessary paperwork to post and recruit for position vacancies.

Verifies and retrieves information from manual and automated systems.

Assists in the preparation of statistical and informational reports for presentation to customers and management.

Performs related duties as required.

Abilities:

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to listen to and understand customer needs and deliver desired results.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to customer needs.

Prefer knowledge of and ability to use information systems tools.
Required Education / Experience:
High School degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
Equipment:
Standard office equipment.
Working Environment:
Standard office environment. May require office environment in prison facility.

qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums
