Job Summary:
To provide administrative and supervisory expertise in the management of human resource programs.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

Manages and supervises administrative activities of a section in the Department of Human Resources.

Reviews human resources practices to ensure legal requirements and institutional policies are met.

Supervises, instructs, and evaluates professional and support staff.

Plans and directs work of staff.

Assists in establishing goals, performance standards, and objectives of section.

Counsels department administrators and other employees regarding human resource policies, practices, and services.

Monitors current programs, and based on assessed needs recommends revised and/or new programs.

Conducts special projects for Director, Associate Director, or Assistant Director of Human Resources.

Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field and four years related experience.
