Job Summary:To provide ongoing case management of injured employees with focus on return to work; assists with return to work coordination and adherence to policy and maintaining an established rapport with UT System Adjusters, physicians and other personnel regarding worker’s compensation.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
Required Education / Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field and one year of experience in a worker’s compensation setting and one year of experience in ergonomics.
Equipment:Standard office equipment. Working Environment:Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment. Rotating 24 hour call. Flexible work schedule.
Other:Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimums require the prior approval of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
