Job Summary:

To provide organizational and supervisory skills in the effective management of the admissions, registration, financial aid, and records processes in the four UTMB schools.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Provides direction and leadership of staff in the daily processing of admissions, registration, financial aid and records processing.
  • As liaison with the schools, ensures quality customer service and support to Student Affairs Offices,
  • Admissions Committees, and Academic Offices.
  • Reports status of processes and progress of goals and targets to the Associate Director.
  • Refers issues and items that are above their purview to the Associate Registrar, along with any items that do not fall within the standard boundaries of their decision-making authority.
  • Participates in group decision-making and evaluation of processes.
  • Communicates and coordinates processes with other Assistant Process leaders, Associate Registrars, University Registrar, Financial Aid Director, and leaders in the schools.
  • Validates compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations as defined by legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field. Three years of related experience in Admissions, Registration, Records and Financial Aid.
