Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing administrative support and technical assistance to communications design staff to ensure customer needs and expectations are met.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Consults with customer to assess telecommunication needs, requirements and constraints. Includes requests for simple configuration of moves/adds/changes; and monitors project management of new voice and data systems for customers.
  • Prepares and processes work orders for small projects in the system.
  • Provides customer service help desk assistance for voice/data systems. Programs the voicemail system to create, modify, delete, and reset options.
  • Maintains appropriate records to ensure efficient service is provided to customers. This includes but is not limited to work order schedules, switch documentation, and service request logs.
  • Prepares project and billing reports for analyses by manager.
  • Prepares statistical reports to assist management in monitoring and analyzing departmental activity.
  • Participates as a team member
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structures.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

Associate’s degree or equivalent and one year related experience.
