Job Summary:
To assist in the pre-test, set-up and operation of various audio-visual
equipment and videography systems.
Major Duties / Critical Tasks:
- Delivers and sets up audio-visual equipment for programs and lectures
including the regulation of lights and sound for proper presentation.
- Picks up audio-visual equipment daily.
- Opens and unlocks classrooms. Reports problems of condition of rooms or
equipment.
- Instructs customers on the proper use of equipment.
- Interacts regularly with people at a variety of levels inside and/or outside
the process.
- Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution.
- Assists Senior Audio Visual Technicians and Media Specialists as needed.
- Contributes ideas and suggestions for improvement to the Process.
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
- Assists with video editing and shooting as needed.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Performs related duties as required.
Required Education / Experience:
High School education or equivalent.
Equipment:
Pre-test, set-up and operate the following equipment: 35mm slide projector,
overhead projector, document camera, amplifier, microphones, public address
system, probable podiums, audio/visual accessories and VCR and monitor.
