Job Summary:

To assist in the pre-test, set-up and operation of various audio-visual equipment and videography systems.

Major Duties / Critical Tasks:

  • Delivers and sets up audio-visual equipment for programs and lectures including the regulation of lights and sound for proper presentation.
  • Picks up audio-visual equipment daily.
  • Opens and unlocks classrooms. Reports problems of condition of rooms or equipment.
  • Instructs customers on the proper use of equipment.
  • Interacts regularly with people at a variety of levels inside and/or outside the process.
  • Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution.
  • Assists Senior Audio Visual Technicians and Media Specialists as needed.
  • Contributes ideas and suggestions for improvement to the Process.
  • Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
  • Assists with video editing and shooting as needed.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Required Education / Experience:

High School education or equivalent.

Equipment: 

Pre-test, set-up and operate the following equipment: 35mm slide projector, overhead projector, document camera, amplifier, microphones, public address system, probable podiums, audio/visual accessories and VCR and monitor.

Working Environment:

Standard multimedia environment
